    Heard the news from other firends .. that there is going to have strike on 7/28....
     
    Today, I checked the website....It's only for virgin tain.....

    HSBC 還我錢來- The End

    我是惡魔..... 呵呵...我的錢終於回來了!!!!!
     
    因為我今天一踏進 HSBC的大門....
     
    就給他直直的走道櫃檯去......
     
    用冷冷的語氣告訴她...." I want to make appoint with branch manager"...
     
    她問我為什麼....我就把前因後果跟他說了一遍...then再告狀you staff said that she is going to call me back on Monday but she didn't. And I still didn't get money....haaaaa
     
    呵呵....不到五分鐘...Branch Manager 就出現了.....
     
    一開始branch manager 就先道歉..............
     
    然後就開始對的電腦狂查資料..........then我看他印了一推資料之後....
     
    She said that ....I need to see the couter manager to find your money....
     
    過了十分鐘.....counter manager 來了....He said....I am sorry to keep your waiting and for the mistake...bra
     
    bra.....She is checking for you... you shall  get your money back pretty soon.....
     
    十五分鐘又過了....Branch Manager...一臉非常開心的回來.....Ms Chang....
    Your money is in your account now... You can use it right away....然後又是一陣道歉...haaa....
     
    這是第一次我在英國感受到服務與效率.....不然每次去HSBC沒有半個小時哪有可能等到人......而且這個Manager效率超好.....三十分鐘就把我的錢找到了......大家切記一定要把收據留下啦阿...................
     我真的是很有客訴的潛力...呵呵......

    清晨五點的Next Clothes Store

       哈哈....昨天電視一直在打廣告.....Next Summer Sale start Tomorrow at 5 AM
     
    早上五點喔!!!!!   在英國這個國家禮拜六早上五點開門的店 真是少之要少.........
     
     
    呵呵.......想當然爾......憑著我愛湊熱鬧的個性....當然是起了一個大早...衝到Next去囉!!!!!
     
     
    ㄏㄏ.....果然人還真是多ㄚ....而且每個人都幾大袋在血拼.................................................
     
    結果我從地下一樓逛到二樓........ 什麼都沒有買...!!!!!! !!!!!!這一季,實在不是我的typeㄚ......
     
    不過早上五點逛街還是滿好玩的....呵呵.....尤其好多老婆都是較老公提袋子...自己拼命瞎.........
     
     ps...因為店裡不給拍...所以只好照照店家門口..

    7/7存80鎊進HSBC銀行.........
     
    7/15在Amazon買DVD...HSBC Solo卡竟然被reject.......
     
     
    What Happend?.........我沒有刷這麼多錢ㄚ!!!!!!!!
     
    今天去HSBC查詢...........
     
    先是登記等了約半各小時後,終於輪到我.....service的小姐....給我看了一下螢幕....然後說....
    sorry......我必須去跟櫃台小姐確認一下這筆錢是否有什麼問題?.........
    回來之後他竟然跟我說.....You Know...我們每天交易的數量很多....有可能是單據沒有key到...
    等下午那天幫你存錢的小姐來上班...我跟他確認之後,再打電話給你..............
    這樣也算customer serviceㄛ.......台灣銀行當天的帳少一塊錢....全部行員都在留下來對帳.....這裡還可以跟我說單據太多,有可能不小心沒有key 到........
     
    好,我等.......於是我就跑去逛街.....等到下午三點...還是沒有人.....再跑回去HSBC....................................
    又等了30多分鐘..........小姐跟我說.......請問你有帶收據嗎?我需要影印給那位小姐查詢,他需要看那天的交易資料...看錢有沒有存到沒人的帳號裡去...禮拜一下午,他會給你電話,.........
    (心中OS:小姐,你碼幫幫忙....早上我不是叫你影印了嗎....你也影印了不是嗎.....那你現在叫我再給你印一次...那是怎樣...妳是船過水無痕喔.....沒有幫我處理嗎?..沒關係,錢還沒有找到,我忍...),
     
    希望禮拜一HSBC可以把前还給我,如果他們處理的態度還是這樣的話......再去寫complain letter......
     
    賠我錢來...賠我錢啦.....快把錢还給我......HSBC...你的服務真差........
     
    ps....收據一定要記的留下來,確定錢有入帳號之後才考以丟掉....不然到時候無憑無據的...會求助無門的ㄚ............

    Stonehaven Highland Game

    One of my goals to study in Scotland is to see the Highland Game.
     
    Last Sunday, I went to Stonehaven to see it with my friend.
     
    Ha....... When we were in the train, four Americans sit behind us were talking about Stonehaven Highland Game.
     
    Haaaa..... it seemed that not only me was attracted by the Highland Game.
     
    It's quite a lovely afternnon to be there.....
     
    Sunshine and joyful people...
     
    Kids Highland Dance, so cute,it seemed that they were going to fall anytime....
     
    Delicious Aberdeen Beef Hamburgh (Reall good, probably the best I have ever eaten in UK).....
     
    Bagpipe band, Tug of war and other traditional highland sports.....

    Writing Dissertation

    .....從四月開始寫Research Proposal到現在......
     
    .....真的覺得,寫論文....真的像是在大海中游泳一樣......载浮載沉.....
     
    ......還要隨時提防大浪來襲...................................................................................
     
    .....一開始...是搞不清楚 proposal要寫什麼......好不容易搞懂了........
     
    .... topic 定好了......正覺得前途一片平坦時.......
     
    .....惡夢來了.....Literature Reivew.........一篇journal 要讀一兩個小時....
     
    .....讀完還不保證一定用得到......讀了十篇左右....漸漸抓住重點....
     
    .....對topic比較有概念之後....................換Methdology 登場....................
     
    ...inductive v deductive....quantitative v qualitative.........interview or questionnaire....
     
    .....天呀...換成中文.....我都要想好久....何況是叫我用英文解釋.......................好不容易搞定....
     
    ....天ㄚ.interview....有人要給我interviewa嗎?..........什麼時候可以interview嗎?....什麼時候可以完成嗎?.....
     
    .......好不容易...一切搞定.....交出proposal...以為從此風平浪靜....................................
     
    ....才怪....重頭戲上場.........What....論文要寫2.5萬字.....有沒有搞錯?...............................
     
    .... 還好....還好...誤會一場....1.8萬字就o.k.了...................................................................
     
    ......首先是Interview Question.....吼..只能問12題....到底要問什麼啦?.............................
     
    ......好不容易搞定.....寄出去給interviewees.......................................................................
     
    .........開始跟Literature Review奮戰..............哎...與他對看兩個禮拜之後...........
     
    .....毫無靈感..................進度零.......挫折感...越來越大................於是放棄...................
     
    .....那就先從Methdology 下手好了......................................................
     
    ........吼....借了好幾本methdology的書......看來看去都寫的差不多...........
     
    ....還是沒有靈感......於是開始從別人的dissertation開始研究....................
     
    從此一帆風順......一個禮拜內搞定.............................哈哈......................
     
    .....Times fly......事情有點不對劲.......interviewees 怎麼一點回音都沒有呢.................
     
    ......啥米.......六月太忙...............無法interview.........................................
     
    好....我等.......7/10前可以嗎?........ Answer: Sure. No problem...................................
     
    ....7/5.....先寫一封email reminder interviewees............................................................
     
    .....7/10 一早起來........預感成真.....一個也沒有................開始打電話給interviewees.....
     
    ...........苦肉計奏效........7/11開始陸續收到feedbacks........................................................

    Sent-off Zidane named best player

     
    Zinedine Zidane
    Zidane's final match in professional football was the World Cup final
    Zinedine Zidane won the Golden Ball award for the World Cup's best player, despite being dismissed for headbutting Marco Materazzi in the final.

    France captain Zidane polled 2012 points in the vote by journalists mostly carried out at half-time.

    The midfielder, 34, beat Italians Fabio Cannavaro (1977 points) and Andrea Pirlo (715 points) in the ballot.

    He scored a penalty early on in the final but was red-carded in extra time as France went on to lose on penalties.

    The former international player of the year and 1998 World Cup winner announced last month that he was retiring from football after the tournament.

    The vast majority of those votes were cast by journalists before the final was over and that I'm sure is why Zidane has come out top

    On Sunday, he put France ahead from the spot in the opening minutes but was sent off after slamming his head into Materazzi's chest during the tense second period of extra time, which ended 1-1.

    It was to be his last act as a professional player and, with the French missing his prowess in the ensuing penalty shootout, Italy went on to claim the World Cup title.

    BBC sports news correspondent Gordon Farquhar was in Berlin to see the game and the vote.

    "The vast majority of those votes were cast by journalists before the final was over and that I'm sure is why Zidane has come out top," Farquhar told BBC Radio Five Live.

    "But it's going to be a bit embarrassing for Fifa - the man who got sent off in the final for a completely unacceptable foul against another player is the guy who's been chosen by journalists as the man of the tournament.

    "The reason the journalists voted for Zidane was this great emotional thing - everybody knew it was his last tournament and the final was his last game of football ever - but most people were dumbfounded to see what he did on Sunday.

    Germany goalkeeper Oliver Kahn won the prestigious award in 2002, while other previous winners include Brazilians Ronaldo (1998) and Romario ('94), Italy's Salvatore Schillaci ('90) and Argentine great Diego Maradona.

    Germany striker Miroslav Klose was the Golden Shoe winner for the tournament's leading scorer with five goals.

    World Cup終於在今天落幕了!!!!!
     
    我的心跳終於可以回歸正常 !!!!!
     
    我的呼吸終於可以自由自在 !!!!!
     
    雖然遺憾巴西沒有奪冠!!!!!
     
    但是義大利贏了法國!!!!!
     
    哈哈!!!!!  哈哈!!!!! 哈哈!!!!!!!
     
    PK大賽真是太精采了.....五上五進!!!!! 強!!!!真的是太強!!!!
     
    而且每一球都進的像是足球教學錄影帶!!!!!! 真是太帥了!!!!!

    謎底揭曉.....County Grand Orange Lodge Parade

    Ha......
     
    這個月來 每到週末就有遊行....
     
    規模也由小型隊伍變到大行遊行....
     
    看了好幾次..都不知道它是慶祝什麼用的.....
     
     
    結果今天看到好多蘇格蘭人聚集在High Street上....
     
    遠處傳來熟悉的鼓樂聲........
     
    就留下來跟著等.......終於忍不住問了旁邊的阿嬤....
     
    請問我們在等什麼阿?...... 阿嬤說....It's Orange Parades.
     
    啥米.......What is Orange Parades?
     
    雖然搞不懂那是什麼...可是阿嬤說今天是最大的遊行......一年一次....
     
    SO...本著我一貫的作風....拿出相機....狂照..........
     
    回家上網查了一下.....
    原來Orange Parade是由1689年10月 英國的光榮革命(Glorious Revolution)的精神衍生而來的,(呵呵...歷史課本上敎的 竟然給我遇到...); 從1940年開始由於執政者King James II 迫害清教徒,打壓資產階級與新貴族,改信天主教,引起英國國教教主們不滿,因此聯合其他反對黨黨員罷黜King James II, 改而擁護King James II的女兒(Mary II) 及女婿 Willim III Prince of Orange. King Willaim III and Queen Mary, 於1689 Oct宣讀權利法案(Bill of Rights ),英國就此由君王專制改為君主憲政.其中並確立英國國會及首相的權利,人民言論及宗教自由. 為什麼是Orange Parade?  因為 威廉三是的全名是William III, Prince of Orange.一般舉辦的時間在July 01 or July 12. 因為根據的日曆不同的原因.
